Screen Prints

This is my first stab at screen printing. I printed 2 small editions. The first is a 2 color print on black Stonehenge paper. I used a silver ink along with a dark blue that has some of the silver mixed in to give the blue a slight metallic look. The prints tuned out great so I printed another small edition of 2 with a third color. I printed a black ink for the third color to bring out the line work in the illustration.

Here's a side by side shot to of both editions.

this is the screen for the dark blue ink. Next time I'll remember to take more photos during the printing process. The only other photo i took was of the prints drying on the rack. Had a blast printing can't wait to make some more prints.
